Dry eye syndrome (Sicca syndrome)

Symptoms such as dryness, burning or a foreign body sensation can result from disturbances of the tear film. Depending on the cause, treatment may include artificial tears, specialised light or laser therapies, or targeted medical treatments.

Laser treatments for the retina and secondary cataract

Targeted laser therapies can stabilise retinal conditions or treat clouding of the lens capsule (secondary cataract) following cataract surgery. These gentle procedures are performed on an outpatient basis and are painless.
